Equipment Engineer (IT, LAN, Wireless)

Overview: We are looking for an experienced Operational Technology (OT) Engineer to manage, secure, and maintain our OT assets to ensure uninterrupted and seamless manufacturing operations. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining high operational reliability while aligning factory-floor OT infrastructure with corporate IT cyber security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Asset & Network Management:

• Onboard new OT machinery and systems into the manufacturing environment.
• Ensure proper network segmentation (e.g., VLANs, firewalls) to protect operational networks.
• Maintain precise and updated OT asset records within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Security Deployment & Operations:

• Deploy and manage mandatory endpoint security tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, BigFix) based on OT system classifications.
• Execute security deployment strategies without disrupting live production processes.

Risk Management & Compliance:

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments within the OT landscape.
• Report policy exceptions and manage the Risk Acceptance (RA) process for legacy or unsupported OT equipment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Serve as the main bridge between the Operations/Engineering teams and enterprise IT/Cybersecurity teams to align goals and policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.

• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in IT/OT environments (manufacturing context preferred).

• Technical Skills:

  • Solid understanding of OT infrastructure, industrial network architectures, and factory automation environments.
  • Familiarity with IT/OT cyber security standards, network segmentation, and ITSM tools.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
