Equipment Integration (EI) Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Integration Project Manager to lead equipment integration and factory automation projects within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The role combines strong project management capabilities with technical understanding of SECS/GEM, GEM300, MES and equipment-to-host integration. The successful candidate will manage projects from requirements and planning through development, testing, equipment commissioning, production deployment and handover.

Key responsibilities

Project Management

• Manage end-to-end Equipment Integration projects covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, quality and deliverables.
• Develop project plans, milestones, implementation schedules and resource requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams involving Equipment Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation, MES, IT, Process Engineering and vendors.
• Track project progress, dependencies, risks and critical issues.
• Manage project changes and ensure appropriate stakeholder alignment.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and technical reviews.
• Provide clear project status, milestone, risk and escalation reporting to management.
• Manage equipment suppliers, EI solution providers and system integrators.
• Drive issue resolution and remove technical or organizational project roadblocks.
• Ensure projects achieve agreed timelines, quality requirements and production-readiness targets.

Equipment Integration / Technical

• Lead implementation of equipment-to-host and equipment-to-MES integration.
• Coordinate SECS/GEM and GEM300 interface requirements with equipment vendors and internal technical teams.
• Manage integration activities from interface specification through development, testing, commissioning and production release.
• Coordinate equipment connectivity and host communication testing.
• Ensure equipment integration meets applicable factory automation and manufacturing-system requirements.
• Coordinate troubleshooting between equipment vendors, EI developers, MES teams, automation teams and equipment engineers.
• Support integration of new equipment as part of factory expansion, capacity ramp-up and automation initiatives.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Automation, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, Equipment Integration, MES, factory automation or manufacturing IT.
• Proven experience managing technical/engineering projects in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.
• Experience working with equipment suppliers and system integrators.
• Good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing operations and equipment lifecycle.
• Experience managing multicultural and cross-functional project teams.
• Strong project planning, scheduling and execution skills.
