Equipment Maintenance Operator 2nd shift

We are looking for a competent Maintenance Technician to manage maintenance of equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of upkeep or repair operations. An excellent maintenance tech. must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. They must have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as industrial electric, mechanical, plumbing etc. The goal is to ensure that equipment is in a good and safe condition at all times.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
• Follow weekly maintenance schedules
• Participate in implementation of new equipment
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations

Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of all mechanical and electrical systems
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations
• Computer savvy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Degree from a vocational school will be a plus
• knowledge OSHA regulations
