Equipment Management Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and optimize preventative and predictive maintenance strategies (TPM, PM, PdM, CM) based on equipment criticality and failure trends.
• Monitor KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, downtime, availability) and conduct root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA) to solve recurring issues and ensure maximum reliability.
• Establish maintenance standards and support production teams with Autonomous Maintenance.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of spare parts—including storage, inventory control, and tracking via ERP/CMMS systems.
• Establish Min-Max levels, safety stock, and demand forecasts based on failure history and lead times.
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to manage costs, identify critical or obsolete parts, avoid stockouts, and explore localization or repair opportunities.
• Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction and energy efficiency.
• Maintain full compliance with safety protocols, company procedures, and industry quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001), while delivering regular performance and operational reports to management.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 year of experience in equipment engineering, industrial maintenance, or spare parts management in the manufacturing sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Practical knowledge of TPM, PM, PdM, CM, and AM.
• Strong background in equipment reliability metrics (MTBF, MTTR, availability) and problem-solving tools (5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, Pareto).
• Experience with automated systems, PLCs, robotics, or conveyors is preferred.
• Proficient in spare parts control, demand forecasting, Min-Max planning, safety stock, and lead time management, with a focus on cost reduction, inventory optimization, and localization.
• Experience with equipment and maintenance audits is a plus.
• Familiarity with quality/safety standards including IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a cost-conscious mindset.
• Good communication in English and Thai; Chinese proficiency is a plus.
