Equipment Manager/Supervisor

About the Role

SHB Malaysia Automotive Appliance Sdn. Bhd. is part of a global group headquartered in China, specializing in the design and manufacture of automotive seating motors and wiper system for leading car manufacturers worldwide. We are seeking an Equipment Manager/Supervisor to oversee equipment safety, maintenance and automation projects with team management.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Responsible for managing the equipment department, ensuring the safe operation of equipment, maintaining equipment in good condition, and improving equipment utilization
2. Responsible for preparing relevant equipment documents, including TPM documents, equipment maintenance plans, spare parts lists, maintenance work instructions, etc., and promoting their implementation
3. Collaborate on equipment improvement and modification projects according to process and production needs
4. Participate in the evaluation, introduction, and release of new equipment.
5. Experience in Equipment Maintenance:

· Leverage extensive experience in maintaining and servicing SMT and motorized automation production line equipment to ensure their optimal functioning.

· Apply expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery in compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

1. Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, etc.), HMI programming (Siemens, Weintek, Pro-face, etc.).
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or a related engineering field. Equivalent experience may also be considered.
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment management
4. Experience in managing equipment teams.
