Equipment Operator – Distribution Center

Glendale, WI | Full-time | 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday

As an Equipment Operator at Batteries Plus, you’ll keep our distribution center moving. You’ll safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to receive, store and ship the products that stock our stores across the country. What You’ll Do

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.

• Load and unload trucks and support inbound and outbound shipments.

• Move, stack and put away product to keep inventory organized and easy to find.

• Rotate stock and complete quality checks to make sure orders are accurate.

• Inspect equipment before each shift and report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Keep work areas clean, organized and free of hazards.

• Help teammates and move between tasks as volume and priorities change.

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ months of experience operating a forklift, pallet jack or similar equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.

• Clear communication and a commitment to working safely.

• A team-first attitude and willingness to learn new systems.

• Availability to work 2nd shift, Monday–Friday.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

• Operate equipment for extended periods, using repeated hand and arm movements for steering and controls.

• Stand, walk, bend and reach throughout the shift.

• Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
