Equipment Operator

Houston based Landfill Gas Recovery company is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator. Our company is committed to providing exceptional quality and we are seeking experienced heavy equipment operators to join our team! The right candidate must have at least 3 years experience operating an excavator, backhoe, dozer, off road trucks, skid steers, etc.

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to assist in the construction, maintenance, and repair of structures, facilities, and systems. This includes ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment and compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

This is a permanent, full-time position with an opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.

Follow project plans and specifications.

Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Be willing to travel

Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License
Min. 3 years’ experience with underground utilities
Experience cutting consistent grade
Be willing/able to travel in/out of state with NO restrictions
Be a team player

Assist supervisor as directed

Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods

Be comfortable working in all weather conditions

Be dependable

Must Pass Drug Test

Background investigation required

Compensation:
Competitive pay rates offered.

Overtime common

Pay based on experience

Per Diem paid on eligible travel

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
