We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our travel construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of construction machinery and heavy equipment to ensure efficient and safe project execution. Responsibilities

• Operate construction machinery such as loaders, excavators, and skidsteers to perform site preparation, grading, excavation, and material transport tasks
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
• Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members
• Assist with setup and breakdown of construction sites by using hand tools and material handling equipment
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety checks
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate heavy equipment operation and ensure project deadlines are met efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as loaders, forklifts, excavators, and skidsteers
• Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and construction machinery maintenance practices
• Valid commercial driver’s license
• Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to perform routine inspections
• Experience with material handling equipment operation such as forklifts or other specialized tools is preferred
• Knowledge of occupational safety regulation compliance related to heavy equipment operation
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy loads and working in outdoor environments for extended periods
• Construction site experience is highly valued; familiarity with concrete mixers and farm machinery is a plus

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
