We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Equipment Operator to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and construction equipment to support building projects, infrastructure development, and site preparation. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities

• Operate a wide range of construction machinery including excavators, skid steers, and dozers. Experience with lasers and gps is a plus.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment such as concrete mixers, cranes, dozers, loaders, and other heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations while operating equipment; utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Assist with site preparation activities including grading, trenching, and foundation work using heavy machinery like front loader trucks and construction dozers.
• Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, inspections, maintenance activities, and safety checks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines while prioritizing safety at every step.

Skills

• Proven experience operating construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers, and other heavy equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance on construction equipment; familiarity with hydraulics and hand tools is essential.
• Knowledge of construction site safety procedures including proper use of PPE and adherence to occupational safety regulations.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and operate complex machinery safely following all safety protocols.
• Experience with construction site activities such as material handling, site clearing, grading, and foundation work.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
