Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking Equipment Operators in North Mankato, MN.

Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment and machinery used for processes such as packaging, bindery, finishing and print production.
• Do setups, adjustments and cleanups.
• Operate equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, within quality guidelines and in a timely fashion.

Shift Options:

• Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm OR 6:00am - 2:30pm
• Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm OR 7:30am - 4:00pm
• Monday - Friday, 1:00pm - 9:00pm

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position; frequently standing for majority of shifts.
• Constantly operate and adjust machinery based on order needs and handles products including print materials.
• Frequently required to move inside the facility.
• Regularly move up to 30+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).

You Must Have:

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• The ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Basic math skills to read a ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization.
• Ability to operate equipment and obtain proficiency as measured through production and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail.

We Would Also Prefer:

• Prior experience in production.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16 - $21. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
