Equipment Operator (Snow)

Winter is coming, and we're building our snow team!

C. Caramanico & Sons, Inc. is hiring dependable and experienced Seasonal Snow & Ice Equipment Operators to support our commercial snow removal operations throughout the winter season.

We are looking for individuals with experience operating skid steers, wheel loaders, tractors, and other snow removal equipment who are ready to work when winter weather hits!

Responsibilities

• Safely operate skid steers, loaders, tractors, and other snow removal equipment.
• Clear snow from commercial parking lots, walkways, entrances, and designated areas.
• Operate snow pushers, buckets, and other equipment attachments.
• Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Follow assigned routes, site plans, and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain safe working conditions around vehicles, buildings, and pedestrians.

What We're Looking For

• Skid-Steer, Front End Loader, Backhoe, or equivalent vehicles with plow required
• Commercial snow removal experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and safely in winter conditions.
• Flexible availability during snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation and strong communication skills.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and ready to work when called.

Seasonal Employment Details

• Temporary, seasonal position during the winter months.
• On-call scheduling based on weather conditions and snowfall.
• Hours vary by storm and are not guaranteed.
• Potential for extended shifts during significant snow events.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work outdoors for extended periods.
• All applicants must be able, willing, and qualified to perform the work described and must be available for the entire period specified and to work throughout all areas of intended employment.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
