Equipment Operator/Laborer

Duties:

• Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, water trucks.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Safely and efficiently operate equipment to complete assigned tasks such as excavation, grading, paving, and other construction-related activities.
• Follow project plans and specifications to ensure work is completed accurately and meets quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations on the job site.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment, including bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, water trucks.
• Proficient in the use of various heavy equipment controls and functions.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.75 per hour
