Responsibilities

· Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on various equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using appropriate tools, including ohmmeters, to identify electrical faults accurately
• Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and manufacturer specifications
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for accountability and future reference
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems
• Conduct safety checks and ensure all equipment complies with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and resolve technical issues efficiently

Skills

· Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills for documenting work processes clearly and accurately
• Physical dexterity and stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
