Equipment Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support for production machines and respond to equipment alarms and breakdowns.
• Perform machine setup, changeover, inspection and basic troubleshooting.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and equipment condition checks.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, sensor and motor problems.
• Replace defective components and verify equipment operation after repair.
• Monitor equipment performance, downtime and recurring failures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history and spare-parts records.
• Support installation, commissioning and qualification of new or transferred equipment.
• Work closely with Process Engineering, Production and QA to minimize equipment downtime.
• Follow ESD, safety, PPE and 5S requirements.
• Participate in equipment reliability and continuous-improvement activities.
