Equipment Technician

Job Summary

The Equipment Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment to ensure optimal machine performance, product quality, and production efficiency. The role involves conducting preventive maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, and supporting engineering and production teams to minimize equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
2. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and other equipment-related problems.
3. Identify equipment abnormalities and carry out timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
4. Replace faulty components, sensors, motors, belts, and other machine parts when necessary.
5. Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition and operates safely.

Job Requirements

1. Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with relevant equipment maintenance experience will have an advantage.
3. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, sensors, motors, and pneumatic systems.
4. Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform maintenance tasks.
5. Experience in electronics, PCBA, SMT, or other manufacturing environments will be an advantage.
