Equipment Technician (Electronics / Semiconductor)

• Position: Equipment Technician (Electronics / Semiconductor)
• Location: Perai Industrial Estate, Penang, Malaysia
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM – 5:15 PM
• Salary (commensurate with experience): RM4,000 – RM5,000 Basic Monthly + Performance Bonus + 10 Days Annual Leave (Increasing Per Year)
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Electronics / Semiconductor Equipment

Main Responsibilities:

• Assemble and integrate optical, electronic and electro-mechanical equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform installation, servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting of PCB and semiconductor equipment.
• Diagnose equipment faults, resolve technical issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.
• Operate production tools and equipment safely while maintaining accurate service and production records.
• Support equipment testing, quality checks and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards and work instructions.
• Perform other ad-hoc technical duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in equipment assembly, electrical wiring or semiconductor equipment servicing.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Experience with PCB or semiconductor industrial equipment will be an advantage.
