Equipment Upfitter Technician

Atlas Flasher & Supply is looking for hands-on Equipment Upfitter Technician who understands a variety of equipment as well as vehicle electrical systems to include 12-volt, low voltage, GPS, cameras and wireless communication systems.

Responsibilities: Installation, Diagnose and Repair

• Emergency lighting & Accessories
• 12-volt wiring, harnesses, and multiplex systems
• Cameras (vehicle mounted and surveillance)
• Solar power supply and charging systems
• Wireless communication systems (modems, GPS & antennas)
• Controllers and Switches
• Remove and reinstall interior OEM trim panels, dash components, and seating to run wiring safely.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfortable using hand and power tools

• Follow installation instructions, wiring schematics

• Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position (lifting to 50lbs, bending, climbing, and standing for duration of shift.)

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test.

• Must have tools (drill, crimpers, wire strippers, digital measuring device and basic hand tools).

• Must have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record; valid driver’s license

• Must be able to work independently, be able to follow instructions

• Keep work area clean and organized

• Attention to detail and take pride in quality work

Pay: $42,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
