Equity Research Analyst – Global Tech focused

Responsibilities:

• Conduct deep fundamental research on global technology companies across key subsectors, including but not limited to Semiconductors, Hardware & Electronics & Digital Infrastructure;
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation frameworks, and earnings forecasts;
• Analyze industry trends, competitive dynamics, technology developments, and regulatory changes impacting investment opportunities;
• Conduct expert calls, management meetings, industry conferences, and primary research;
• Organize and participate in investor roadshows, management meetings, and bookbuilding activities;
• Maintain relationships with institutional investors (funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, etc.) and understand their investment preferences.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or related fields;
• At least 5 years’ experience of relevant research experience, with a strong focus on the technology sector.;
• In depth understandings in Hong Kong and global stock markets, and demonstrate good judgment and high sensitivity to financial markets;
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
