Responsibilities Job Description

• Handle billing procedures for the emergency department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with medical staff to verify patient information and billing details.
• Process insurance claims and follow up on pending claims with insurance providers.
• Maintain accurate records of all billing transactions and update patient billing information as required.
• Assist in the resolution of billing discrepancies and respond to inquiries from patients and insurance companies.
• Ensure timely submission of claims to maximize revenue generation for the emergency department.
• Support emergency department staff with financial information and billing documentation.
