ER TECHNICIAN

An Emergency Room (ER) Technician works under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to deliver frontline medical support, monitor patient vitals, and assist with urgent clinical procedures in a fast-paced hospital emergency department. [1, 2, 3]Core Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment & Vitals: Measure and record blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation levels. [1, 2, 3]
• Clinical & Diagnostic Procedures: Perform 12-lead EKGs, draw blood samples via phlebotomy, collect lab specimens, and run point-of-care tests like blood glucose checks. [1, 2, 3]
• Wound Care & Immobilization: Clean and bandage minor wounds, assist doctors with suturing, apply splints or orthopedic casts, and fit patients for crutches or canes. [1, 2, 3]
• Emergency Support: Assist healthcare teams during critical interventions, CPR, code blues, and airway management by setting up crash carts and equipment. [1, 2, 3]
• Patient Transport & Mobility: Safely move patients via wheelchair or gurney to and from diagnostic imaging (X-ray, CT scan, MRI) or inpatient units. [1, 2, 3]
• Room & Equipment Maintenance: Restock trauma bays and carts, check oxygen tanks, sanitize treatment areas between patients, and maintain medical equipment. [1, 2, 3]
• Documentation & Clerical Support: Log vital signs, diagnostic results, and patient interactions into electronic health record (EHR) systems. [1, 2]

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
