ERP Cutover Manager

AXR Group is a Queensland property development and construction group. Our businesses span residential development, commercial property, 3D-printed concrete construction and export. We are building out the ERP systems that run across all of them, and we want people who can build them properly.

About the role

You will plan and run the cutover from legacy systems to the new or upgraded ERP. That means the data migration, the go/no-go decisions, the rollback plan and the hypercare period after go-live. A cutover either works on the night or it doesn't, and you will be the person who makes sure it works.

Key responsibilities

• Build the cutover plan, including sequencing, timings, dependencies, resourcing and rollback points.
• Lead mock cutovers and dress rehearsals, and report the results.
• Manage the data migration plan with the data and developer teams, covering load sequence, reconciliation and sign-off.
• Maintain the run book, with step-by-step tasks, owners and checkpoints.
• Coordinate system freezes, outages and communications to business users.
• Run go/no-go meetings against defined criteria and evidence.
• Define rollback triggers, and lead the rollback if one is needed.
• Coordinate hypercare, defect triage and the handover to business as usual.

Essential requirements

• At least five years' experience in ERP cutover, go-live or data migration on SAP or Oracle projects.
• Experience running at least two mock cutovers and at least one production go-live.
• Working knowledge of data migration tools and reconciliation methods.
• Ability to run a multi-team plan under time pressure.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Desirable

• Finance cutover experience, including general ledger balances, open items and subledgers.
• SAP Activate or Oracle cutover experience.
• Experience with LSMW, SAP Data Services, or Oracle FBDI or HDL.
• Construction or property sector experience.

• Keeps the business informed without flooding them.

Work arrangement

Based in Beenleigh, Queensland (11 Main Street, Beenleigh QLD 4207). Remote and work-from-home arrangements are available for this role. Working from AXR offices in other Australian locations is acceptable. Some travel to project sites and to Beenleigh may be needed.

Pay: $150,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
