ERP Functional Consultant Position

About the role

The main responsibility of this position is to analyze business requirements and design system solutions, translating business needs received from Business Analysts/Business Owners into functional specifications, business process flows, and system designs for enterprise applications. Execute and liaise with business users, internal IT teams, and Vendors for solution design, testing coordination, and issue resolution. Also responsible for producing high quality analysis and design documentation, and for supporting continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Understand current business processes and identify areas for improvement through ERP implementation
• Review, evaluate, and analyze functional business requirements provided by Business Analysts and Business Owners to ensure total operational alignment
• Design and configure the ERP system based on gathered requirements, including workflows, data mappings, and system settings
• Customize the ERP system to align with specific business processes where necessary
• Lead the implementation process, including data migration from legacy systems
• Coordinate between business teams, internal IT teams, and system developers, whether in-house or Vendor
• Assess technical feasibility and evaluate the impact on existing systems (Impact Analysis)
• Provide ongoing support to users, troubleshooting issues and answering questions post-implementation
• Maintain comprehensive technical and functional documentation, including solution designs, API specifications, data flow diagrams, User Training Materials
• Manage and monitor daily transactions and troubleshooting in core NetSuite modules, including GL, tax, Fixed Asset, and Budget

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Business Information Systems, Accounting and finance or related fields
• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Consultant or support, focusing on ERP Financial module
• Strong skill in writing analytical technical and functional documentation, including Solution designs, API specifications, data flow diagrams, User Training Materials
• Good communication and coordination skills with both users and technical teams
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Experience working on the Vendor/System Implementer side would be a strong advantage
• Knowledge of or experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) would be an advantage
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite would be a strong advantage
• Experience in Insurance Business would be an advantage
