ERP Project Manager

About the role

You will lead ERP implementation and enhancement projects from initiation through go-live and hypercare. You will manage several workstreams at once, including internal teams, external consultants and software vendors, and you will be the person who tells the executive team the truth about where a project stands.

Key responsibilities

• Own the project plan, schedule, budget and resourcing, and report progress and variances to the steering group.
• Manage scope through a formal change control process.
• Manage consultant and vendor relationships, including statements of work, milestones and invoice approvals.
• Maintain the risk and issue logs, and escalate early.
• Coordinate business analysts, developers, consultants, testers and trainers across parallel workstreams.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and governance meetings.
• Coordinate system, integration and user acceptance testing, and manage sign-off.
• Oversee change management, training and communications for end users.
• Track benefits realisation and close projects with documented lessons learnt.

Essential requirements

• At least five years' project management experience, including at least two full-lifecycle ERP implementations on SAP or Oracle.
• A formal project management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent), or hands-on experience with SAP Activate or an Oracle implementation methodology.
• Experience managing significant project budgets and external vendor contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including reporting to executives and boards.

Desirable

• Experience with an S/4HANA or Oracle Cloud migration.
• Experience in construction, property or project-based finance.
• Hybrid or agile delivery experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or similar planning tools.

Work arrangement

Based in Beenleigh, Queensland (11 Main Street, Beenleigh QLD 4207). Remote and work-from-home arrangements are available for this role. Working from AXR offices in other Australian locations is acceptable. Some travel to project sites and to Beenleigh may be needed.

Pay: $106,000.00 – $194,000.00 per year
