What they need
Role: ERP Project Manager | Enterprise Resource Planning
Location: Fully Remote, North America
Package: circa $120,000 - $140,000 + 80% Medical + 401k + 20 days leave
The chance to lead complex ERP implementations for a growing software business serving the North American lumber and building materials industry.
I'm partnering with an established, international software business entering an exciting new phase of growth across North America. With more than 30 years in the market and fresh investment fuelling its expansion, this is an opportunity to join a business with a proven track record, an entrepreneurial feel and ambitious plans for the future.
The business specialises in cloud-based ERP solutions for independently owned businesses across the lumber and building materials (LBM) sector, supporting dealers, retailers, wholesalers and distributors with the technology they need to run and grow their operations.
Now, they're looking for an experienced ERP Project Manager to help deliver successful implementations, build strong customer partnerships and play a key role in their continued growth.
The opportunity
This is a customer-facing Professional Services role where you'll take ownership of multiple ERP implementation projects, working with consultants and cross-functional teams to deliver against agreed timelines, budgets and business expectations.
You'll be the person bringing structure, clarity and control to complex implementations, balancing customer requirements with commercial realities, resource availability and delivery commitments.
You'll have real ownership of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and sales handover through execution, change control and final delivery into support.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading multiple enterprise-level ERP implementation projects from planning through to successful delivery and handover.
- Building and managing project plans, statements of work, delivery schedules, milestones and project documentation.
- Owning project budgets, resource forecasting, scheduling and change control, ensuring projects remain commercially viable.
- Managing customer stakeholders and expectations, keeping delivery on track while confidently handling scope creep and competing priorities.
- Working closely with Professional Services consultants and leaders across Development, Sales and Hardware to coordinate resources and resolve delivery challenges.
- Establishing effective project governance, ensuring meetings, reporting, timesheets and project controls are managed properly.
- Improving delivery processes, resource utilisation and ways of working across the Professional Services team.
- Ensuring projects are properly closed out, documented and handed over to the support function.
What they're looking for
You'll be an experienced Project Manager with a background in enterprise ERP implementations , comfortable taking ownership of delivery while managing the people, priorities and commercial pressures that come with complex customer projects.
You'll ideally bring:
- At least three years' experience working as a Project Manager.
- Experience delivering ERP implementations at enterprise level.
- A good understanding of Agile and Lean methodologies.
- Strong commercial awareness, including project budgets, resource management and scope control.
- Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to investigate problems, find practical solutions and keep projects moving.
- Strong organisation, communication and planning skills.
Experience within the lumber and building materials (LBM) industry would be a distinct advantage, although it isn't essential.
The position is fully remote within North America , offering flexibility alongside the responsibility and autonomy to lead your projects effectively.
If you're an ERP Project Manager who enjoys owning delivery, building trusted customer relationships and bringing complex implementations over the line, I'd be keen to have a conversation.
