Enterprise Solution Architect

We are representing a well-established organisation undergoing continued technology transformation and are looking for a senior Enterprise Solution Architect to help shape its future technology landscape.

This is a broad architecture role suited to someone who can operate across business applications, enterprise systems, integration, cloud and technology governance, while working closely with both business and technical stakeholders.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will have a significant influence on how technology solutions are selected, designed and evolved across the organisation.

Rather than focusing on one particular platform, this role looks across the wider technology ecosystem — understanding how different applications and platforms work together, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring new investments fit into a sustainable long-term architecture.

What You Will Be Doing

• Translate business and technology priorities into practical architecture strategies and future-state designs.
• Act as an architecture advisor and help develop technology roadmaps and help shape the evolution of the organisation's application and technology landscape.
• Assess proposed solutions, platforms and products and provide recommendations based on business value, technical fit, security, scalability and operational considerations.
• Review solution designs and architectural decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide architectural direction across core business applications and enterprise platforms (ERP, HR, Finance, Digital platforms, IoT & mobile solutions, AI initatives).
• Shape the way applications exchange information through APIs, middleware, interfaces and other integration mechanisms.
• Help establish consistent approaches to integration and application lifecycle management.
• Strengthen the organisation's architecture governance model and decision-making processes.
• Work closely with senior business users, IT leadership, infrastructure, security and delivery teams.
• Engage with external vendors and implementation partners to evaluate capabilities and challenge proposed approaches where required.
• Assess where new technologies can create practical business value and how they can be incorporated into the wider technology environment.
• Provide architectural guidance around the responsible and secure adoption of AI-enabled solutions.

Requirements

• 8–12 years' experience within enterprise technology, with meaningful experience in architecture or senior technical leadership.
• A track record in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Application Architecture or a comparable role.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale applications, preferably including ERP, HRIS, Finance systems, Digital Workplace platforms, Mobile & IoT Solutions or other core business systems.
• Good understanding of application integration, APIs, middleware and data interfaces.
• Experience with architecture standards, design reviews, governance processes or similar architecture practices.
• Good understanding of technology security and related architecture considerations.
• Experience working with technology vendors and cross-functional project teams.
• Exposure to AI architecture or enterprise AI solutions would be a plus.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese.
