ERP Specialist

Position Reports to: ERP Business Manager

Summary:

The ERP Specialist will be responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing operational and financial data in a manufacturing environment while driving forward process improvement and functional transformation initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in: Business, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Mathematics or related field
• 5+ years’ experience in leveraging technology through continuous improvement initiatives, data collection, process analysis and reporting
• Able to prioritize commitments, manage time effectively, and work independently to meet time sensitive deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in collaborating with and/or participation in cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in a Large-Scale Manufacturing environment
• ERP experience (Sage100, SAP, Oracle, Business Central); system implementation a plus
• Project Management (PMP) or related certification
• APICS certification
• Lean Six Sigma training or certification

Essential Functions:

• Gather operational and financial data (inventory, purchasing, costing) to capture accurate inventory and production costs
• Lead and manage projects to achieve business goals and facilitate adoption of new processes within the ERP system
• Translate business processes and requirements into technical solutions within the ERP system or related applications
• Drive standardization of master data across the organization
• Collaborate with other functional groups, including Purchasing, Product Development, Production Control, IT and Finance
• Generate reports to showcase progress and communicate findings to management and the ERP steering committee
