ERP Training Manager

We are looking for an experienced ERP Training Lead to take responsibility for the training strategy, planning, development and delivery across a major ERP transformation programme. This is a long-term contract, Outside IR35, based in Poland . The ideal candidate will have strong experience leading training across complex ERP programmes, ideally with SAP S/4HANA , and preferably within a large-scale retail environment.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall ERP training strategy , ensuring that training is aligned to the programme roadmap, business processes, solution design and organisational change requirements. You will lead the planning, development and delivery of training across the full programme lifecycle, from initial design and preparation through to implementation, go-live and transition into BAU.

A key part of the role will be leading and coordinating training development teams made up of client resources, Change Management teams and external solution vendors or implementation partners. You will provide direction, establish consistent training standards and ensure that all teams are working towards a coordinated and high-quality training approach.

You will bring strong knowledge of best-practice ERP training methodologies , including modern approaches to learning delivery and the latest tools and techniques for developing effective training materials. Experience selecting and using training development tools, e-learning platforms, digital learning solutions, process simulations and other technology-enabled training approaches would be highly advantageous.

You will also have experience setting up and managing ERP training environments and training data , ensuring that users have access to realistic, relevant and appropriately configured environments to support their learning and preparation for go-live. Experience working closely with SAP/S4HANA solution teams to ensure training environments accurately reflect the business solution will be particularly valuable.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering training within a large, complex and preferably multinational retail transformation , with an understanding of the challenges associated with training large user populations across multiple business functions and locations. Experience working within a retail ERP environment, particularly across areas such as Buying, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Ecommerce or Store Operations , would be advantageous.

The role will be based in Poland , and candidates already based in Poland would be preferred. Polish language skills would be highly desirable but are not essential , as translation support will be provided where required for languages other than English.

The successful candidate will be a strong, hands-on ERP Training Leader with the ability to develop strategy while also driving delivery, coordinate multiple internal and external teams, manage senior stakeholders and ensure the organisation is fully prepared for a successful ERP implementation and go-live.
