ES&H Representative

Job Title: ES&H Representative

Duration: 12 months contract

Schedule: 3 Weeks On / 1 Week Off; 57 Hours (EWW)

Location: Thacker Pass, NV

This opportunity is based on a major lithium mining and processing project in northern Nevada, supporting construction activities tied to critical minerals for electric vehicles and clean energy. The role focuses on field safety oversight, OSHA compliance, incident investigation, audits, inspections, and contractor engagement within a remote project environment. This position offers the chance to contribute to safety performance and continuous improvement on one of North America’s most significant mining developments.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience supporting environmental, safety, and health activities
• Experience supporting heavy industrial, mining, energy, or large-scale construction projects
• Proven experience with audits, inspections, incident investigations, and contractor management
• Ability to work effectively in a remote project environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholders

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations
• Ability to conduct field inspections, audits, and safety observations
• Experience supporting incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-up
• Ability to lead contractor orientations and safety meetings
• Experience maintaining ES&H records, databases, and reports
• Ability to support risk assessments, emergency preparedness, and training programs
• Strong capability in coaching contractors and site teams on safety expectations and best practices
• Commitment to continuous improvement in safety performance and culture
