CCX Green Finance International Limited (CCXGFI), a subsidiary of CCX Group, is a third-party service provider specializing in green and sustainable finance, with a particular focus on green and sustainable development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and international markets. In June 2023, CCXGFI became the first Chinese rating agency recognized by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) as an external reviewer for the Green and Sustainable Finance Grant Scheme (GSF Grant Scheme). Our core services include green and sustainable bond and loan assessment, comprehensive ESG solutions, ESG ratings and data governance, sustainable finance services for financial institutions, carbon asset management, and zero-carbon industrial park management. Due to business expansion in Hong Kong, we are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager with profound local market knowledge to join our team and contribute to the development of the green finance ecosystem in the Asia-Pacific region.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing tailored sustainability / ESG / climate change consultancy services for clients based on sustainability research and market intelligence.
• Conduct site investigations, interviews, and data analysis to provide reporting and assurance in compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., IFRS S1 and S2, HKEX Appendix C2, and A-share ESG requirements), while delivering strategic sustainability management consulting services.
• Perform climate risk analysis, stress testing, carbon verification, and assist in setting sustainability targets for listed companies and financial institutions.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives and strategies designed to enhance an organization's overall ESG performance.
• Manage productive professional relationships with clients in China, HK and overseas.
• Support Business Development team to engage potential clients and prepare technical proposals.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree with majors in Environmental Studies, Science, Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Economy, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of consultancy experience in relevant areas, such as: sustainability strategy planning, reporting and assurance, ESG rating enhancement, climate risk assessment, carbon verification. Less experience with be considered as Assistant Analyst.
• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and standards (e.g. ISSB, GRI, HKEx ESG Code, A Stock ESG Rules, GS-1) is a must.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in both Cantonese and Putonghua is a significant advantage.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions; familiarity with Python or other programming languages for data analysis is a plus.
• Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to actively contribute to team discussions and project delivery.
• Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
