About Othello International
Othello International is a Bangkok-based ESG technical consulting and bilingual disclosure firm. We advise SET-listed companies, financial institutions and international organisations on greenhouse gas accounting and carbon footprinting, climate and sustainability disclosure (IFRS S1/S2, GRI, FTSE Russell), assurance readiness, and ISO 17100-certified technical translation and interpretation.
The role
We are seeking an experienced ESG Practice Manager to lead the firm's administrative, billing and finance-operations function. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will take full ownership of invoicing and collections, expense and payroll administration, statutory filings, meeting and training logistics, consultant travel and day-to-day office operations, and will serve as the principal coordination point between our clients and our consulting team.
This is a senior, hands-on position for a professional who has performed this function independently in a professional-services environment.
Key responsibilities
Billing and accounts receivable
Prepare and issue quotations, billing notes, invoices, tax invoices and receipts in FlowAccount with complete accuracy
Monitor each engagement from signed proposal through to final payment, and manage collections on overdue accounts
Obtain and maintain a complete register of withholding tax certificates (50 Tawi) received from clients
Complete client vendor-registration, purchase-order and e-tax invoice requirements
Expenses and accounts payable
Record expenses and supplier invoices in FlowAccount, applying the correct withholding tax (PND 3 / PND 53) and issuing 50 Tawi certificates
Prepare payment schedules for CEO approval; administer petty cash and staff expense claims
Maintain orderly, audit-ready records in coordination with the firm's external accountants
Payroll and statutory compliance
Prepare monthly payroll, payslips and PND 1; file Social Security contributions (SSO 1-10); register new employees and report leavers
Coordinate PP 30 VAT returns, PND 1 Kor, the Workmen's Compensation Fund and year-end 50 Tawi with the external accountants
Own the firm's compliance calendar and ensure every filing is made accurately and on time
Meetings, training programmes and consultant support
Prepare and coordinate client and internal meetings, both on-site and off-site — scheduling, venues and meeting rooms, agendas, materials, equipment, catering and follow-up actions
Organise the firm's consultant-led training classes and workshops from start to finish — venue and room set-up, participant registration and communications, training materials, refreshments, attendance records and certificates
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the consulting team so that engagements run smoothly and on schedule
Travel and consultant logistics
Plan and book travel and local transport for consultants attending client sites, site visits, audits and training sessions — flights, hotels, vehicles, drivers and itineraries
Maintain a shared schedule of consultant movements and ensure each consultant arrives prepared, on time and with the correct documents and equipment
Manage travel budgets, advances and post-trip expense reconciliation
Office operations
Manage suppliers, equipment, subscriptions, courier and printing services, and office facilities
Maintain personnel files, leave records, and onboarding and offboarding procedures
Provide executive support to the CEO, including scheduling, documentation and follow-up
Client and team coordination
Act as a professional point of contact for clients on scheduling, documentation, contracts and billing, in both Thai and English
Coordinate timelines, meetings and deliverable hand-offs between clients and the consulting team
Identify issues early and escalate them clearly and promptly
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline
A minimum of four years' experience in office management or combined administration-and-accounting roles, preferably within a consulting, professional-services, accounting or law firm
Native-level Thai and excellent professional English, written and spoken — TOEIC 700 or above (or equivalent); proficiency will be assessed at interview
Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in FlowAccount (PEAK or Express also considered), across the full document cycle from quotation to tax invoice and receipt
Sound working knowledge of Thai VAT and withholding tax, PND 1 / 3 / 53, PP 30, Social Security filings and Revenue Department e-filing
Advanced command of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
Exemplary attention to detail, discretion and integrity in handling financial and confidential client information
The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and communicate with senior client stakeholders
