About the Position

DLTS International School is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated ESL Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in developing students' English language proficiency, confidence, and communication skills through engaging, student-centred learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ESL lessons tailored to students' English proficiency levels and individual learning needs.
• Develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through interactive and differentiated teaching strategies.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted learning support.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and confidence in using English.
• Adapt teaching materials, resources, and instructional approaches to accommodate diverse learning abilities and backgrounds.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and academic progress.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, academic coordinators, and other school staff to support student achievement.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues and parents regarding student development when required.
• Participate in school activities, staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programmes.
• Uphold the school's policies, safeguarding standards, and commitment to student well-being.

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Recognised ESL teaching certification, such as CELTA, TESOL, TEFL, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant ESL teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong English language proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan differentiated lessons and support students with varying English proficiency levels.
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting students' academic and personal development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related discipline.
• Previous teaching experience in an international or bilingual school environment.
• Experience working with multilingual learners and students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Familiarity with student-centred learning approaches and modern educational technologies.
