About the role
Teachers of ESOL will become an integral part of the academic team at Waikato Institute of Education, a leading English language school situated in Hamilton city.
Key responsibilities
- Create and develop lesson plans, and prepare for lessons (lessons can be onsite or online)
- Deliver and assess excellent course content
- Manage learner progress toward completion of qualifications (especially NZCEL)
- Engage with students, academic team, and admin colleagues
- Mark assessments and provide feedback and complete paperwork to a high standard
About you
- Must have completed relevant ESOL teaching qualification or relevant tertiary study (such as CELTA, TESOL, or equivalent)
- A minimum of 1 year experience of teaching
- Expertise and experience in ESOL knowledge
- Fluency in the English Language
