Esports Lab Assistant

The Esports Lab Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Varsity Esports teams at Post University. This position requires 10-20 hours per week.

Location: Post University- Main Campus – Drubner Athletic Building Esports Lab

Supervisor: Jonathan Martin, Esports Coordinator

Rate of Pay: Minimum Hourly rate as determined by the state of Connecticut

This is a seasonal opportunity with a start date as soon as possible.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities The primary responsibility of the Esports Lab Staff Worker is to assist with the daily operations of the Varsity Esports teams which includes but is not limited to:

• Greeting those who enter the esports lab ensuring only authorized people enter the esports lab
• Ensuring that visitors to the esports lab properly sign in
• Ensure that all the University owned esports lab equipment stays in the esports lab
• Report defective esports equipment, peripherals, and furniture to the Esports Coordinator
• Enforce the esports lab rules
• Other projects and duties as assigned

Minimum Skills, Training And Attributes

• Must be a current student at Post University eligible for Federal Work Study
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with the department associates, the University’s students, and guests
• Strong time management and organizational skills
