What they need

Estate Agent | Experienced Sales NegotiatorNext Home Estate Agents — Perth

Full-time | Basic salary plus commission | OTE £35,000–£40,000, depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 9.00am–5.30pm, with an occasional Saturday, 10.00am–3.00pm

Experience valued. Ambition encouraged.

A successful estate agent brings more than sales ability. They inspire confidence, recognise opportunities and understand when to listen, when to advise and when to negotiate.

At Next Home Estate Agents, we are looking for an experienced sales negotiator to join our Perth office. This is an opportunity for someone who takes pride in their profession, enjoys building lasting client relationships and is ready to develop their career within an established local property business.

You will bring sound judgement, commercial awareness and a genuine commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for each client. In return, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution, develop your expertise and take on greater responsibility as your career progresses.

Your role

Working closely with our sales and valuation teams, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients and properties, providing a consistent, attentive service from initial enquiry through to completion.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiating with confidence and care. Managing offers, handling objections and progressing negotiations with professionalism, always representing our sellers’ interests.
  • Creating opportunities. Building relationships with prospective buyers, understanding their circumstances and proactively matching them with suitable properties.
  • Providing thoughtful client advice. Keeping sellers informed with meaningful viewing feedback, clear recommendations and regular conversations about their property’s progress.
  • Maintaining momentum. Following up enquiries, supporting agreed sales through to completion and working collaboratively with colleagues and solicitors to keep matters moving.

You will also contribute to individual and team targets, maintain accurate records and help ensure that every interaction reflects the standards our clients expect.

Your experience and approach

You will have proven estate agency experience and a strong track record in negotiation and client service. Comfortable managing a busy workload, you will balance attention to detail with the initiative needed to move opportunities forward.

Just as important is how you work. We are looking for someone who is articulate, approachable and dependable—able to have honest, constructive conversations while helping clients feel supported and well advised.

You will enjoy contributing to a team, take responsibility for your results and bring a genuine appetite to learn.

Development and progression

We want this role to offer a meaningful next step, not simply a change of office.

Your development will build on the experience you already have, with support from senior colleagues and regular conversations about your performance, interests and longer-term ambitions.

Depending on your strengths and the needs of the business, there will be scope to broaden your involvement in property valuations and listings, develop your market knowledge, take greater ownership of client relationships or help support and mentor colleagues.

For someone who demonstrates consistent performance, initiative and leadership potential, the role can develop towards senior negotiation, valuation or wider team responsibilities. Progression will be shaped by your contribution, readiness and the opportunities available.
