Estate Project Inspector - Architect

Job Purpose and ScopeTo ensure the successful implementation and compliance of estate development projects by conducting inspections, verifying contractor performance, and ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves quality assurance, documentation, and coordination with stakeholders to maintain high project standards.

ScopeThe Estate Project Inspector is responsible for overseeing site inspections, verifying materials and workmanship, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications, and providing recommendations to improve project execution. The role supports the organization’s commitment to delivering high-quality estate development projects while ensuring regulatory and safety compliance.

Project Inspection & Compliance:

● Conduct routine and random inspections of construction sites and estate development projects.

● Ensure all work aligns with approved plans, specifications, and industry standards.

● Verify materials, workmanship, and safety compliance in accordance with regulatory requirements.

● Identify deviations from project specifications and recommend corrective actions.

Stakeholder Coordination:

● Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and government agencies to ensure smooth project execution.

● Address and resolve site issues in coordination with contractors and consultants.

● Provide technical guidance and feedback to stakeholders regarding project compliance.

Documentation & Reporting:

● Maintain accurate records of inspection findings, deficiencies, and corrective actions taken.

● Prepare and submit inspection reports, compliance checklists, and progress assessments.

● Assist in documentation for regulatory submissions and project completion requirements.

Safety & Quality Assurance:

● Ensure all site activities comply with occupational health and safety standards.

● Monitor adherence to environmental and sustainability guidelines in estate projects.

● Recommend improvements to enhance overall project quality and efficiency.

Vendor & Contractor Performance Evaluation:

● Assess contractor compliance with contract terms and performance expectations.

● Monitor progress against project timelines and milestones.

Report and escalate recurring non-conformances to management

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

● Background in real estate development, infrastructure projects, or civil engineering is an advantage.
