Estimate Engineer (Solar) / Project Engineer (Solar)

About the role

Scan Inter Public Company Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer (Solar) / Estimate Engineer (Solar) to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing solar energy projects, as well as providing accurate cost estimates for these projects. The position will be based in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage the planning, design, and implementation of solar energy projects from start to finish
2. Conduct site assessments, analyse system requirements, and develop detailed project plans
3. Prepare cost estimates and budgets for solar projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, installation, and commissioning
5. Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure timely completion
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, legal, and regulatory requirements
7. Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the solar energy industry, preferably in a project engineering or estimation role
3. Proven track record in successfully managing solar energy projects, from conceptualisation to completion
4. Excellent understanding of solar system design, installation, and commissioning processes
5. Proficient in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis for solar projects
6. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
8. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications
