Estimation & Technical Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimation & Technical Documentation Specialist to join our innovative team. Duties

• Prepare detailed project cost estimates by analyzing technical drawings, specifications, and scope of work to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation
• Develop clear, organized technical documentation including manuals, process descriptions, diagrams, and reports using industry-standard tools such as Word processing software and Visio
• Proofread all technical materials meticulously to eliminate errors, enhance readability, and maintain high-quality standards
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather technical data and translate complex information into accessible documentation for diverse audiences
• Maintain and update technical records regularly to reflect project changes, revisions, and improvements
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify estimation assumptions, scope details, and documentation requirements
• Support the review process by verifying consistency across estimates and technical documents before submission or publication

Requirements

• Proven experience in preparing project estimates with a strong understanding of cost analysis and resource planning
• Proficiency in Word processing applications for creating professional reports and documentation
• Familiarity with Visio or similar diagramming tools to develop detailed technical drawings and flowcharts
• Excellent proofreading skills with keen attention to detail to ensure error-free documents
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to organize large amounts of information systematically while maintaining accuracy
• Prior experience in technical writing or documentation is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: £40,000.00-£58,000.00 per year
