Estimation Engineer (Civil)

Role Description The Estimation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jharsuguda. The role involves preparing detailed project estimates, including quantities and cost breakdowns, based on drawings, specifications, and site conditions. The Estimation Engineer will analyze BOQs, support tender preparation, and coordinate with project, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate costing and budgetary planning. Daily responsibilities include conducting technical and market research for rates, evaluating vendor quotations, assisting in negotiations, and updating cost databases and estimation templates. The role also requires participation in project review meetings, monitoring cost deviations, and supporting management in decision-making related to bids and ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in BOQ preparation and Project Estimation.
• Candidates should possess solid Civil Engineering knowledge and understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Candidates should possess effective Negotiation skills for dealing with vendors and contractors.
• Candidates should possess sound Research abilities for market rates, technical data, and cost benchmarking.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in construction contracting, estimation, or quantity surveying, preferably in infrastructure or civil projects.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation or quantity take-off software; familiarity with AutoCAD and project management tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with deadlines in a site-based environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Minimum 5 year's experience in estimation civil project's.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹49,000.00 per month
