Estimation Engineer - Civil

• Studying and analysing tender drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract conditions to fully understand project scope and requirements
• Performing detailed quantity take-offs for civil, structural, and architectural works using digital measurement tools or manual methods in accordance with relevant measurement standards (SMM7, CESMM, POMI)
• Developing unit rates based on current UAE market labour productivity norms, material costs, equipment rates, and overhead considerations
• Obtaining and evaluating quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive and technically compliant pricing
• Identifying cost risks, scope gaps, and exclusions in tender documents and proposing commercial and technical clarifications to mitigate them
• Preparing cost breakdowns and pricing schedules for tender submissions, ensuring alignment with the project’s scope of work and client requirements
• Coordinating with procurement, contracts, and technical departments to validate pricing assumptions and ensure bid accuracy
• Incorporating value engineering alternatives into cost proposals to improve competitiveness without compromising quality or compliance
• Preparing preliminary budgets and cash flow forecasts for management review during the bid stage
• Supporting pre-bid and post-bid meetings with clients and consultants by presenting technical and commercial justifications for pricing
• Reviewing and incorporating addendums, tender bulletins, and revised drawings into the estimate and ensuring any changes are reflected in final pricing
• Maintaining a cost database of historical project data, supplier rates, and productivity benchmarks for future tendering reference
• Tracking tender progress, submission deadlines, and ensuring all bid documents are completed, signed, and submitted in accordance with tender instructions
• Assisting in post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and preparation of revised offers as required by the client
• Keeping abreast of market trends, price fluctuations, and construction methodologies to ensure accurate and competitive bidding

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• high rise building : 5 years (Preferred)
