Estimation Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Civil Engineering Fresher interested in building a career in Quantity Surveying, Estimation, BOQ Preparation, and Costing.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
• Assist in preparing BOQs and cost estimates.
• Calculate quantities for concrete, steel, masonry, plastering, flooring, etc.
• Assist in material and labour quantity calculations.
• Review drawings and identify scope of work.
• Assist in rate analysis and project costing.
• Compare quantities with drawings and project requirements.
• Support senior quantity surveyors in tender and estimation activities.
• Assist with site measurements when required.
• Maintain proper estimation sheets and project documentation.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Civil Engineering and construction methods.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Good knowledge of measurements and basic mathematics.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn quantity surveying and estimation.

Software Knowledge

Knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, Cost Estimation/BOQ software is an advantage.
