Estimation Engineer

Position: Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

Salary: AED 3,000 – 3,500 per month

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our fit-out and building contracting company. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in cost estimation, tender preparation, and quantity surveying, with hands-on experience in interior fit-out, civil works, and MEP-related trades.

The candidate must have a minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in the UAE market and possess good technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to prepare accurate project cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out, civil, and MEP-related works.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and scope of work to prepare quantity takeoffs.
• Prepare BOQs (Bills of Quantities), material quantity calculations, and cost breakdowns.
• Assist in preparing quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals.
• Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Evaluate material, labor, and subcontractor costs to ensure accurate project pricing.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams as required.
• Review project requirements and identify potential cost variations.
• Maintain proper records of estimates, quotations, and tender documents.
• Support the team in achieving competitive and commercially accurate project pricing.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Relevant technical certifications or professional qualifications will be an advantage.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–3 years of relevant UAE market experience in quantity surveying, estimation, or tendering.
• Experience in interior fit-out, civil works, and MEP-related trades.
• Good knowledge of material pricing, quantity takeoff, and cost estimation.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other estimation-related software.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with the project team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: AED 3,000 – 3,500.
