Estimation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Review enquiries, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and scope-of-work documents.
• Conduct site visits and assess technical requirements, quantities, manpower, materials, equipment, and project duration.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, rate analyses, budgets, and competitive commercial proposals.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, method statements, and tender clarifications.
• Attend client meetings, technical discussions, and site inspections.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, finance, and project teams during project execution.
• Monitor actual costs against the approved budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare variations, additional-work estimates, and supporting commercial documentation.
• Maintain estimation records, pricing databases, and project cost reports.
• Ensure all proposals comply with TAQA, ADM, client, quality, and HSE requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Engineering diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline.
• TAQA/ADM approval or relevant project experience is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in estimation for general maintenance or contracting projects.
• Strong knowledge of project costing, budgeting, BOQ preparation, tendering, and execution planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software is preferred.
• Fluent in English and Hindi; Arabic language skills will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and client-management skills.
• Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
