We are hiring for the position of Estimation Engineer for one of our clients.

Job Title: Estimation Engineer
Experience: 2+Years
Industry: Construction / Civil Engineering
Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Note : Waterproofing experience is an added advantage.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer with a strong understanding of civil construction estimation, quantity calculations, and cost analysis. The candidate should be capable of preparing accurate project estimates, reviewing drawings, and supporting project planning and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects.
• Calculate quantities of materials required for projects.
• Prepare BOQs (Bills of Quantities) based on drawings and project specifications.
• Review construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Estimate material, labour, and other project costs.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams to obtain quotations.
• Compare vendor quotations and prepare cost comparison statements.
• Maintain estimation records and prepare cost reports.
• Coordinate with the site team to verify quantities and project requirements.
• Ensure estimates are accurate and submitted within deadlines.

Required Skills

• 25 years of experience in civil estimation.
• Strong knowledge of quantity estimation and cost analysis.
• Experience in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs.
• Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of construction materials and labour costs.
• Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidates with experience in construction and civil engineering projects are preferred.
• Experience in commercial buildings and large construction projects is an advantage.
• Candidates should be detail-oriented and capable of meeting deadlines.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
