Estimation Engineer

Symatic Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), and LT Electrical Control Panels, providing complete solutions including design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, supply, installation, and commissioning. The company also undertakes EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, delivering integrated electrical infrastructure solutions from engineering and procurement to execution and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare techno-commercial offers, cost estimates, and quotations for electrical control panel and EPC projects.
• Analyze customer inquiries, technical specifications, electrical drawings, and tender documents.
• Prepare estimation and costing for:
• 11kV MV Panels
• 33kV MV Panels
• VCB (Vacuum Circuit Breaker) Panels
• LT Control Panels
• PCC, MCC, APFC, and Distribution Panels
• Electrical EPC projects, including supply, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Review project scope, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), SLD (Single Line Diagram), and technical specifications for EPC tenders.
• Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOM), quantity calculations, and project cost breakdowns.
• Estimate the cost of electrical equipment, cables, cable trays, bus ducts, switchgear, accessories, and other project materials as applicable.
• Include labour, installation, transportation, testing, commissioning, and other project-related costs in EPC estimates.
• Obtain and compare quotations from vendors and suppliers for major electrical components and project materials.
• Coordinate with design, purchase, sales, project execution, and site teams to ensure accurate costing.
• Assist in preparing techno-commercial bids, tender documents, and client quotations within deadlines.
• Maintain estimation records, vendor quotations, cost databases, and project costing reports.
• Support the sales team during technical discussions and clarification meetings with clients.
• Assist the project team in budget preparation and cost control during EPC project execution.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering concepts and electrical power distribution systems.
• Understanding of MV/LV switchgear, electrical control panels, and EPC project activities.
• Ability to read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Basic understanding of electrical material costing, vendor quotations, and project estimation.
• Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical, numerical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Freshers with relevant academic projects and a basic understanding of electrical systems are welcome to apply.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
