Estimation Engineer – Interior Fit-Out

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation Engineer to join our interior fit-out team in Dubai.

The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out estimation, with strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, costing, subcontractor/vendor quotations, and tendering.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for interior fit-out and renovation projects.
• Study drawings, specifications, scope of work, and tender documents.
• Prepare accurate material and labor cost estimates.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Compare supplier/subcontractor quotations and negotiate competitive rates.
• Prepare tender and project costing sheets.
• Coordinate with the design, procurement, project management, and sales teams.
• Identify missing items, discrepancies, and variations in drawings and BOQs.
• Prepare variation orders and revised cost estimates when required.
• Assist in preparing preliminary and detailed project quotations.
• Maintain updated rates for materials, manpower, joinery, MEP, civil, finishes, and other fit-out works.
• Ensure estimates are accurate and commercially competitive while maintaining required project margins.
• Participate in site visits when required to understand project conditions and scope.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in Interior Fit-Out Estimation.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, construction methods, and finishes.
• Excellent understanding of BOQ preparation and quantity take-off.
• Ability to read and understand architectural, civil, joinery, ceiling, flooring, and MEP drawings.
• Good knowledge of Excel and AutoCAD.
• Experience with estimation/costing software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tender deadlines.
• Candidates from interior fit-out, renovation, or design & build companies are preferred.
