Estimation Engineer - Interiors

We are seeking a detail oriented Interior Estimation Engineer for interior fit-out group. The candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, cost estimation and supporting the tendering process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate project cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and BOQ.
• Calculate quantities of materials, labour and other project requirements.
• Prepare BOQs, quotations, and cost sheets.
• Collect and compare material and subcontractor rates.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, specifications, quality and market rates relevant to interior projects.
• Ensure estimates are prepared within the required budget and timeline.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Review project drawings and identify missing or unclear information.
• Prepare revised estimates based on design or client changes.
• Support the project team in cost control and budget monitoring.
• Maintain records of rates, quotations, and previous project costs.
• Assist in tendering and negotiation with vendors and subcontractors.
• Ensure all calculations and estimates are accurate and properly documented.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Estimation, preferably in Interior Fit-Out.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and joinery materials, construction methods and market rates.
• Excellent knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, estimation, and cost analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and joinery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight tender deadlines.
• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
