Job Description

Al Muraqib Fiber Glass Industry LLC is looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team in Sharjah. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, BOQs, material take-offs, quotations, and cost calculations for FRP/fiberglass and related projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQ, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and quotations.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Calculate material, labor, fabrication, installation, transportation, and other project costs.
• Prepare competitive and commercially accurate quotations for clients.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, sales, and project teams.
• Obtain and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Review project drawings and identify scope, quantities, and potential variations.
• Maintain estimation and costing records.
• Assist in preparing tender submissions and commercial proposals.
• Conduct site visits when required to understand project requirements.
• Follow up on submitted quotations and provide technical/commercial clarification when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• UAE experience in FRP, fiberglass, construction, manufacturing, fabrication, or related industries is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity surveying, material take-off, costing, and quotation preparation.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and estimation/costing software.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple quotations/projects.

Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in FRP/fiberglass products, tanks, pools, panels, gratings, cladding, fabrication, or similar industrial products will be preferred.

Language Requirement

• Must be fluent in Hindi and English

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
