Estimation Engineer-Marine

We're Hiring: Senior Estimator / Tendering Engineer - Marine Construction
Location: Dubai| GCC Projects | Willingness to travel across GCC

A leading Marine Construction company in the UAE is looking for an experienced Marine Estimator to join our Tendering & Estimation team.

This is a critical role for someone who understands the full marine scope - from pontoons to piling, dredging to marina utilities.

THE ROLE
You will be responsible for the complete tendering cycle - from reviewing IFC drawings, specifications & BOQs to preparing winning technical and commercial proposals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs to define full project scope.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs, cost build-ups, and rate analysis.
• Pricing for floating pontoons, piling works, gangways, revetments, dredging, marine structures, mooring systems, and marina utilities.
• Float supplier/subcontractor enquiries and perform commercial bid comparisons.
• Prepare technical & commercial proposals including exclusions, qualifications, and preliminary programmes.
• Drive value engineering and provide alternative cost-effective solutions.
• Liaise with Planning, Engineering, and Procurement teams for tender submissions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant estimating & tendering experience in Marine Construction is mandatory.
• Regional Experience: Previous experience in UAE and/or Saudi Arabia is MANDATORY.
• Technical Expertise: Proven track record in pricing floating pontoons, piling, gangways, revetments, dredging, marine structures, mooring systems & marina utilities.
• Education: Degree in Civil / Marine / Structural Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Skills: Expert in quantity take-offs, cost build-ups, rate analysis, VE, and tender clarifications.
• Software: Proficiency in MS Excel & estimating software. AutoCAD knowledge is highly preferred.
• Other: Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, excellent written English, and deep knowledge of GCC construction methods & pricing.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
