Estimation Engineer - Mechanical

Sinopec Electromechanical LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Estimation Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have experience in MEP projects, mechanical cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and tender preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for mechanical and MEP works.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
• Perform quantity take-offs for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
• Analyze project requirements and prepare accurate material, labor, and equipment cost estimates.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare tender submissions, commercial proposals, and cost breakdowns.
• Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, project managers, and other departments to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Maintain estimation records, rate analysis, and cost databases.
• Ensure estimates are accurate and submitted within the required deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical estimation within the UAE construction or MEP industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
• Experience in BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, and cost analysis.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Good negotiation, analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and local supplier pricing is preferred.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
