Estimation Engineer-Metal Fabrication

Job Summary

Responsible for reviewing RFQs, preparing accurate quotations based on pricing and technical requirements, and coordinating with internal teams to support the estimation and sales process. The role also involves assisting with cost estimation, preparing price comparisons, and ensuring timely submission of quotations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Receive and review RFQs (Request for Quotations) and understand customer requirements.
• Prepare accurate quotations based on RFQs, project requirements, and applicable price lists.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and related documents.
• Assist Sales Engineers with technical and commercial specifications and discussions.
• Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with internal teams to obtain technical details, material costs, and other pricing information.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates considering materials, fabrication, labour, and other relevant costs.
• Ensure quotations are accurate and submitted within the required timelines.
• Maintain proper records of quotations, estimates, and pricing details.

Requirements:

• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in estimation/costing.
• Experience in heavy metal fabrication is required/preferred.
• Good understanding of technical specifications, engineering drawings, and fabrication requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation/costing tools.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to support Sales Engineers in technical and commercial discussions.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
